It is recommended to cleanse the area thoroughly apply Releaf 15-30 minutes prior to procedure. If able to leave on longer than that is recommended. However, affects can be felt sooner. Each clients sensitivity may differ, so feel free to try different methods to find what works best for you and your clients. Releaf may be reapplied throughout out your session if needed. Not for internal use.
I am familiar with Chamomile, Lavender, and Rosehip but what is Jojoba oil?
The secrets of Jojoba lie within its properties. It's full of nutrients like B-complex vitamins, silicon, chromium, copper, vitamin E and zinc. Jojoba oil also is high in iodine, which helps to fight infection. It contains myristic acid, which has anti-inflammatory properties. Its structure is very similar to human skin oil sebum, making Jojoba great for healing dry skin by replacing oil production lost from aging or environmental factors. It can help control overproduction of sebum by signaling the body that there is sufficient oil present and, unlike sebum, it doesn't clog pores. Its lubricating properties also help to remove residue on skin and hair, promoting a clean environment for healing.
Are all of your products vegan?
Yes, all of our products including the numbing gel, lotion, and balm are vegan!
Can you use these products on a healing tattoo?
We recommend the balm or lotion for healing tattoos. Usually artists recommend the balm for 2-3 days, then switching to lotion as your tattoo gets to the dry stage. Our lotion contains ingredient that soothe the skin and lessen the itchiness during this stage as well, which can help tremendously. Our gel is for pre-numbing, during, or immediately after the tattoo session only.
Anything else I should know?
The lotion works great for everyday use! If you have any more questions feel free to email us.
